Collection and Use of Personal Information
Lunchbox Orders Account Creation
In order to place an order with a participating restaurant through lunchboxorders.com, you are required to create an account and provide your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional) and a password. We use this information in order to create and administer your online account, and to coordinate lunch delivery and order details with participating schools and restaurants for the duration of your participation in your school lunch program.
In order to ensure your order is delivered safely and to the correct student, we also collect the student’s first name and last initial, city, province, school, classroom and any food allergy or dietary restrictions.
Placing an Order with a Restaurant
When you place an order, we collect your payment card information. We use this information to process any payments made to a participating restaurant through the website and to provide you with a payment history and record of payments. For each order, a portion of your payment is paid to the school and a transaction fee is paid to Lunchbox Orders.
Communications
When you register for an account, you may choose to receive weekly email reminders to place your next order. You may also have the opportunity to sign-up to receive email marketing communications from Lunchbox Orders with offers from participating restaurants, surveys, and other information about our products and services.
You can opt out of receiving marketing emails from us using the opt-out or “unsubscribe” instructions provided in the communication. You also may withdraw consent to receive email notifications through your online account settings (by clicking “Update Contact Information”). Please note that even if you opt out of receiving marketing emails from us, we may continue to send you transactional communications such as information regarding your payments, order confirmations or changes, account administration and customer service requests.

We share your order information with the restaurant with whom you have placed an order for order fulfillment purposes.
Schools
We share information regarding your account and order(s) with your school in order to co-ordinate lunch delivery and facilitate payments to the school.

We may create and share aggregate and non-identifiable information with third party partners, such as statistical data about the number and type of orders placed through Lunchbox Orders.
